Wifi networks not available on Windows 11 PC

I have a new Dell Inspiron 24 5415 running windows 11 with the Mediatek Wi-fi 6 LAN card. There are no wifi networks showing in the Internet Access panel/app list in the Task bar. I've tried a number of suggestions to configure and troubleshoot the issue but haven't found a solution. I had wifi connections for the first week of operating the PC then it all went blank, using a ethernet connection now. I updated drivers, set card's start to automatic, reset network adapters, and reset modem and router through power down etc. Would have tried to alter power settings to avoid the PC from shutting
