WiFi adapter wont reinstall after scan/reset windows 10

My WiFi adapter first had an issue and would not work, therefore after researching I uninstalled it and restarted it. I then scanned for changes and restarted and it's not come back, it's completely gone (I have checked show hidden). I feel like I've tried everything, I can't update it because it literally isn't there so what else can I do??Thanks
