Why won't they update Control Panel anymore?

I feel like control panel just doesn't get enough attention! It's no good that Microsoft forgets it. It's a fantastic tool, and they have just ignored it over the years and replaced it with Settings, which in my opinion, just isn't as polished or good as Control Panel is. It's no longer a mainstream Windows feature, but just a fading memory. Bring back Control Panel. It needs an update after all these years, to finally bring it back into the configuration spotlight, and overtaking Settings.Bring back Control Panel.
