Why wont my windows key work?

I know it for sure is not an issue with my keyboard as for if i click windows plus or minus in chrome it will zoom / unzoom. But if i try to click windows key for anything else for example xbox gamebar (windows g) nbothing happens or windows r, windows shift s to take a screen snip, or even windows key all by itself nothing happens. I dont understand why this is happening ive watched countless videos. ive turned off sticky keys updated my keyboard drivers. I dont know what else to do please help.
