Why won't my windows 10 allow the choice for wifi? It's only asking for a Ethernet cord but I'm not able to connect to that. I've tried everything. Wh

I just got this windows 10 for Christmas and I can't get it to connect to Wi-Fi or for the option to show up. I've rebooted, I've opened the boot panel and I've done many network resets. It came with a Wi-Fi driver but idk what to do
