Why won’t my PC boot from my SSD anymore?

My computer was working well two days ago. About an hour ago, I attempted to open my video editing software when my PC froze. I restarted it, and it got stuck on the ASRock start up screen. I restarted it two more times, and then the boot menu opened. The boot screen displayed that my PC was trying to boot from my hard drive instead of my SSD, which is unusual. I attempted to change it back to my SSD, but the computer wouldn’t even detect it as a boot device.
