why won't my browser work?

I open my browser (I've tried chrome, opera, yandex, microsoft edge) and when search something up it loads normally, like shows all websites and all (which means it's not a network problem) but when I click on ANY website it doesn't work, it either loads forever or I get an error like check your internet connection and other stuff. btw I haven't made any recent changes on my laptop it just started doing that recently (oh and sometimes, very very rarely a website might actually open but then it's just too slow it practically doesn't work)
