Why isnt my nvme being recognized?

[Windows 11]

I just swapped from AM4 to AM5 and im trying to boot my pc up but it just loops into bios and when i try to set the boot options nothing comes up. Im using a 500gb nvme m.2 for windows. I tested the nvme with another computer and it booted and ran just fine. When in bios with my new am5 motherboard no boot option is showing up after enabling nvme support, sata mode, ahci and disabling csm support. NVME is not bitlocked or anything. any ideas?
