Why isn’t Microsoft store updating

It’s making me update microsoft store before i can use it and it’s just stuck on working. The bar isn’t filling or anything. I restarted my laptop and tried again and didn’t work. I reset the microsoft store app and tried again, didn’t work. I reset the cache and tried again, didn’t work.
