Why is Windows 11 so slow after installing KB5041585?

Since Windows 11 update installed KB5041585 and KB5042099 last week, my computer has become extremely slow, especially for any applications that access the internet. Loading images sometimes looks like it did in the days of dial up modems - with small incremental loads or just complete pauses in download progress.What happened? Is there a way I can revert back to the state prior to this update?Thank you in advance for your help.
