Why is Windows 10 not installing on my new build PC?

Hello all!

I built a new PC with my son for Xmas this year based on lots of youtube research.

The build was relatively easy but installing Windows is proving to be very difficult.

Firstly, as a longtime mac user, the only other windows machine I have is a dell xps laptop from 2005 or earlier which has half the keys missing!

My wife has a work laptop running windows 10 so I downloaded the media creation tool onto an 8GB USB from that laptop.

I bought a Window 10 Pro key from theunitysoft.com for £19.99 and tried to install using the serial key provided but that failed.

I then bought a Windows Home license directly from Microsoft site for £120 and tried to install using the key provided but that failed too.

I've updated the bios to the latest version (motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M DS3H).

I've deleted any partitions for a clean install.

Does anybody have any ideas as to why I can't install this??

My computer components are the following:

Gigabyte B450M DS3H

Ryzen 5

ADATA 240GB SSD

WESTERN DIGITAL WD50000AAKX

2 x Patriot Viper 4 8GB Ram

Graphics card: RADEON XFX RX 570 4GB
Power supply: thermaltake smart RGB 500W

Any advice welcome!
