Why is StoreJet 25H3 not lighting up when the CPU(ASUS all in 1 Computer) is on.

I had an external hard disk(SAMSUNG) connected to my PC all the time. It would make backup of my software daily.But, suddenly, 1 month ago, The CPU could not make the hdd light up when I start the CPU. I have to reconnect it again. At this time, after restarting the computer, my external hard disk is lighting UP and works OK.I thought, my external hdd is making fault, so, I purchased StoreJet 25H3 1TB hard disk.But, till now, the CPU can not make the hdd light up when I start the CPU.
