Why is my Secure Boot State option grayed out?

Whenever I enter the BIOS settings to enable secure boot state, the option to switch to Secure Boot was enabled, but the Secure Boot State was grayed out, stuck on the disabled settings. The options looked something as follows:Secure Boot [Enabled] *Can edit*Secure Boot State [Disabled] *Cannot edit (Grayed out)*
