Why is my Line in not showing up

[Windows 10]

I use an auxillery cord to connect my main display to my pc so that I can listen to xbox sounds through my pc headset while talking in discord or doing anything else on my pc. I recently rearranged my desk so I unplugged everything, and when I plugged everything back in my line in input in my sound mixer did not show up. The cord was working fine a couple days ago, and I cant get the device to show up in my settings. I have looked on here and many fixes have mentioned updating audio drivers, I do not see this in the command center. not sure what to do now.
