Why is my GroupMe not opening on my phone when I touch the icon button?

On my iphone, I have the GroupMe app. A couple of weeks ago, I could open the app, but I could not see the messages. I discovered that if I slowly dragged the screen to the right of any of the group chats, the messages would pop in.Two days ago, when I tapped the GroupMe app on my iphone, it would not open at all. I have: 1. turned off the phone and on again, 2. I have re-set the GroupMe app within settings, 3. I have restarted bluetooth, and 4. I have removed and put GroupMe back on my iphone. When I remove it and go to the App Store, it only shows the cloud sign and not the "get" bu
