Why is my computer frequently throwing the blue screen and rebooting?

There doesn't seem to be any specific activity that I'm doing before it randomly throws the blue screen and reboots. It happens so frequently and unexpectedly that I need to save my work every minute. I'm generally just web browsing and using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. I found a reference that suggests uploading minidump files after the system crashes.
