Why is my brand new PC with Windows 11 having these soft crashes?

Hello,I recently built a new PC and installed Windows 11 on it (via USB). Im unsure if this is a software or Hardware issue. Without any particular pattern in user activity, I keep encountering what i can only describe as a soft crash. The OS becomes so slow its unusable ( cursor and typing inputs have several second delay, the whole PC will operate as if its lagging and never catches up, I have to reboot to fix the issue until it happens again eventually).
