Why is my account constantly being attacked?

My Microsoft account is very valuable to me, because it contains all my apps and games, but the problem is that someone, a bot, or a group of people, for months together, have been trying to hack my account. I have 8 sign-in methods and a 16-digit password, but they have been trying for months. I own another Microsoft account, and it is not being hacked. Why is this one being hacked? It stresses me, because I have been dealing with this for months and weeks, and they haven't stopped. Even though the data isn't that important, I would like to know two things.
