Why is it that you have to go outside the Microsoft environment to get a simple task like deleting an uncooperative folder?

I had an issue with several folders not deleting, I tried using the force delete RMDR command string and it did nothing. I finally decided that since this was Win 11 to try searching force delete on Win 11. Found a post mentioning unlocker portable and decided to give that a try, nothing to lose but a little time. Did the download, and gave it a spin, and it worked where nothing from microsoft did. Not sure why things refuse to delete, but this little program did the trick.
