why is half of my screen black?

since may 2023 my windows 10 laptop has been having issues. at first my screen would have glitches all of the screen when i touch the screen or the trackpad but as of today there is only a black screen covering the right half of the screen. random microsoft edge tabs keep opening too so that’s also weird. i edit for fun and this laptop has all of my files and apps that i need so if someone has any tips or advice on how to remove and fix the black screen i’d appreciate it :)
