Why is half my taskbar gone on my laptop?

Why can't I find the icons or the taskbar? Half the taskbar is gone after I switched my laptop from tablet mode to laptop mode.Some icons like the volume, battery and time and mini icons are available and I can click them, but the rest is gone because half of the taskbar is not there, I can't close or restart the laptop because of the issue. My laptop is: HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop.
