Why is edge running on the background, I never use it, and why is it taking too much ram an cpu usage.

Edge just was open on the background, I dont know why I dont have it open, and when I end task it, it closed netflix, and made windows error noise couple of times, it opened back when I opened netflix, how do I stop this and what's happenin?
