Why is Disk Management not recognizing a new disk I installed?

I just recently got a new M.2 for my PC but for some reason it's not appearing in my disk management settings. It's recognized by the BIOS, yet for some reason Windows won't recognize it. I just got off the phone with an MSI (PC brand) representative and he couldn't help me out on the matter. Now it's a little later in the day, so I probably can't contact Microsoft about the issue. I've looked through many searches and tried a multitude of methods and still nothing.Please help.
