Why is copying and pasting not working properly?

Hi all. I’m having a problem while using the Open Office software on Windows 10, but I don’t know why it’s happening or what’s causing the issue.The issue is that I am trying to copy the names of some video or picture files on my pc and then pasting them onto a text document in the Open Office software, however even though I copy or cut the file name, the Paste option does not appear straight away. It takes about 2 or 3 attempts at copying or cutting the file name before the Paste option appears.I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the Open Office software, but that hasn’t made any differen
