Why have my contacts duplicated to multiple storage accounts?

I have had some issues with Microsoft phone link not synching my contacts, and in an attempt to solve this, I moved some of my contacts from my phones contact folder to the Microsoft exchange folder (this is on a Samsung A52).This did not seem to work and only select contacts would show, although all my contacts were now showing in Microsoft Exchange folder. I tried moving them back to the phone folder, and then back to M.E folder but it seems that every time this is done, it leaves a link to that folder.The result is that I have now got multiple storage locations for each contact, some contac
