WHY HAVE ETHERNET DRIVERS DISSAPEARED

Why is it that whenever I install the Update for Windows 10, windows update that my Ethernet doesn't work anymore? and when I roll back the update (a nerve-wracking process) the ethernet still does not work. The drivers are completely gone for the ethernet. The option for LAN settings in BIOS also does not exist. It's as if the drivers were completely wiped from every existence.Obviously, it's because I rolled back the old update. Is the new update that I got bugged/broken?I need answers, please.
