Why hasn't my Surface Laptop 4 ever updated Windows 11 to 22H2 or 23H2 and why do I get an error message when checking for updates?

I have a Surface Laptop 4 with an AMD Ryzen 7 Microsoft Surface (R) Edition 2.00 GHz processor and Windows 11. The last Windows update listed is 21H2 installed in 2022. It never updated to 22H2 or 23H2. To confound things further, on the Windows Update page, it says:You're up to dateYour device is missing important security updates. Make sure to keep your device on and plugged in so updates can complete.How can it be both up-to-date and not up-to-date? What can I do about both situations (which I guess are probably linked)?Dani
