Why has windows 11 explorer gone backwards,

It is as if a beginner has revamped it. all the useful icons such as properties, undo among others which were on the menu bar have gone making Explorer useless except for just basically viewing your programs. I hope Microsoft take heed of all the bad comments with regards to the new explorer (and there are a lot). I personally have started using personally have started using XY Explorer, it is everything that explorer should be. it has all the missing shortcuts on the menu bar, plus many more and also You can have a split screen which I use a lot when copying files from one drive to another,
