Why doesn't monitor come on after waking up laptop?

[Windows 11]

Windows 11 running on Dell Alienware laptop - typically run with laptop lid closed and a USBC hub to a monitor. Laptop was working fine until January - would come on out of sleep mode with a touch on the mouse and turn on monitor. After recent update, the monitor will not come on unless I open laptop and do a restart. Looking for help what would have changed with update or what to go check in settings. Thanks
