Why does Windows keep re-installing apps?

Why is it that every time I update Windows (so that I can keep my system "safe and secure" or so they say) applications that I have intentionally deleted are re-downloaded and installed onto my computer? I deleted those apps for a reason but I have to re-delete them practically every time I update. I don't want any stupid games, Co-Pilot, or any other stupid **** installed on my PC.Why is it every time the system updates, settings I have changed revert back to "Microsofts" defaults?Why can't I delete Microsoft Edge from my PC? If I want any additional software from Microsoft I will download
