Why does the popup crash when I try to sign into a different Microsoft account?

Hello, whenever I try to sign into a different account in the xbox app a popup appears, and when I click “microsoft account” under “use a different account”, and click continue, the popup crashes and sends me back to the xbox app home screen. I am on a windows 11 pc, I have tried reinstalling both the xbox and xbox live apps, restarting the pc, and turning off microsoft sign in assistant, and nothing seems to work. Is there something I can do to fix this? Thank you.
