Why does my touch screen stop working when I try to use my computer as a tablet?

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 with Windows 11, and the touchscreen works just fine when on computer mode, but when I switch to tablet mode, it just downright stops working. Device Manager isn't heplful either; it just says that the device is working properly and that there are no issues. Anyone know what might be happening?
