Why does my PC not connect to or has poor connection with wifi while laptop and phones are fine?

Not me but my friend got a new PC because his old one got a problem with getting a good connection to wifi. His laptop and phone connect to and have a strong connection without hassle but his pc either doesn't connect or if it does its a couple hundred kbs and because you need a connection to set up windows he can't even do that so no looking at network settings or posting for help here hence why I am doing it.He has tried putting the antenna's in and out and has moved the pc around to make sure not in a dead spot. It is a brand new pc with what seems to be the same problem as with his old one
