Why does my pc crash and enter a bootloop when i try to install gpu drivers?

Pc: Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600 Gpu: geforce gtx 780 18gb ram500gb ssd1tb HDDI had a previous issue so roughly 2 months ago i did a fresh install of windows on my pc, after this instillation i an error code 43 next to my gpu on device manager but shortly after, maybe a month and a half ago, my pc stopped being able to detect my gpu for some reason, not in task manager or device manager anymore. when i install a geforce experience gpu driver, i lose output but my pc remains running. after a while it enters a boot loop then goes onto a blue screen for failing to boot.
