Why does my laptop show black screen upon startup and why did my laptop get unlocked by an incorrect PIN I had deliberately entered?

During startup of my Windows 11 PC, I encounter an error related to graphics and display sometimes. The screen becomes completely black and I cannot even see my mouse pointer. To overcome this issue, during entering my PIN, I purposely enter an incorrect PIN and then I enter the correct one. This solves the problem. However, today I entered the wrong PIN and still the computer got unlocked and I had access as if I had entered the correct PIN. Now, I need help with two things: 1-How can I solve this display problem that is occurring very often? and 2-Can Microsoft or any representative explain
