why does my laptop not recognise my finger print and password when my fingerprint sensor and keypad it working perfectly?

I'm currently using "ASUS vivobook pro 15" with pre installed windows 11 and i did rest of the updates necessary. The problem i am facing is that whenever my laptop goes on sleep mode from being idle it wakes up but it does not recognise my fingerprint and password pin on the lock screen. it shows a message saying "an error occured" but when i restart my device or put it to sleep manually and restart it again, it recognises my fingerprint and my pin. it's just been less than a week of using this laptop.please help me with this as whenever i go AFK my laptop goes to idle sleep and my unsaved d
