Why does file explorer always open my folders on a new window on windows 11?

Hello,For the last few months I've had this error where file explorer systematically opens my folders on a new window and it is slowing dow my computer. I havent changed any setting on this regard. There seems to be no anwsers on the web. ( I've tried changing the properties of the folders but that does not work)For example : I open a folder on my computer and open another folder inside that first folder, that second folder will open on a new files explorer window, seconds often minutes after I clicked on it.Thank you for your anwsers.
