Why does Counter Strike 2 cause so many problems with Windows 11?

I am trying to play Counter Strike 2 and it has been unstable for about 6 months now. Previously it ran just fine on my Windows 11 system.The game will freeze at random places while playing and this introduces a variety of problems:1) The CS2.exe process cannot be terminated by closing the window from the menu bar.2) The task manager does not respond to mouse movements after it is launched so I cannot select the process and terminate it.3) Sometimes there is a dead black video region in the upper left corner of my screen.
