Why does an action started from the context menu of a link mark the link as modified?

I have a "Jukebox" on my laptop, working with links to AutoHotKey scripts (they call a script with path/filename as parameter). I have noticed, that when calling another (AutoHotKey) script through the context menu (e.g. "Try to open the record cover"), the link file (.lnk) itself (NOT the script or the music file) is marked as modified. It shows up newer than the links I last added, when ordering the folder by modification date.This is also happening, when choosing the standard action from context menu, but when I simply double-click the link, it isn't marked as modified (it stays, where it w
