I have two laptops that I got for designing. The one was already Windows 11 Pro and the other one was Windows 10. I updated it from 10 to 11 and the product key carried over just fine. But it was to slow for me because it had an HDD. So I got an SD card and installed a full copy of Windows on it and plugged it in. It does not replace Windows inside the laptop. Essentially two OS's on one laptop. If I want I can take it out and the original system on it is activated as well. It is activated without me entering a new product key. How can this be?
