Why do I have to keep performing the Ipconfig release and renew function to get my internet speeds where they should be?

Is it just me, or is Windows 11 affecting my internet connection? I've used Windows since Windows XP. In my experience, I've experienced more problems with internet connections on Windows 10 and now I have to release and renew the ip address numerous times a day in Windows 11. This laptop is a fairly new HP Spectre. I get better speeds on my Kindle Fire 10. I have tried network reset. I have tried the uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. I've owned different laptops for years, and have never had this issue. If I reset the wireless gateway, or change the channel, it fixes it tempo
