why do I have a grey address bar as my mouse hovers

Hiya. I don't like this grey address bar taking over my lower taskbar when mouse is hovering sites, sometimes the grey address takes over the whole page on top of the lower task bar. It is distracting and annoying. Is there a way of stopping it windows 11? I have tried many things, asked google. I don't know what to call the grey address bar on the lower taskbar. It disappears when you move the cursor and then another link shows up, so on and on it goes. Thanks.
