Why do folders and/or hierarchy not show with "Quick access" links?

Here is my problem:I've added my User folder and Downloads folder to Quick access in File Explorer. When clicked, the address bar has no hierarchy, so I can't click any parent folder.More bizarrely, when I click my User folder in Quick access, I don't see my Downloads, Pictures, or Videos folders. If I pin a Custom folder from my User folder to Quick access, the address bar hierarchy is not C:\Users\Name. It is just: Full Name > Custom folder.
