Why did windows suddenly de-activate?

writing this up at 19:22 and stressed out of my mind. yesterday windows was activated, no "activate windows" message. and today after i installed an update it suddenly de-activates or something. and it took me a while to notice, but now i'm worried. what do i do to fix this stuff? i don't really know how much this will affect windows but i just want to re-activate my windows just incase something important was affected
