Why did IIS ApplicationHost.config file disappear?

windows server 2016 , windows server 2012 / Classic ASP In IIS Manager, you can perform tasks such as restarting or stopping the site or editing SSL bindings. Changing the settings or doing so will cause the task to fail with an error writing to the file. I don't see any files in system32/inetsrv/config/ It is in the backup history, but recovery failed Even simple pasting fails Is there no way to solve this?
