Why can't I remove my Child from my Family group?

I am the Family Organiser, and always have been. But when I try to remove my child from the family group, I get the message:You can't remove O******* from the family groupFamily members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Oliver can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted Oliver consent to remove O******* from the family group.I am the one that granted consent in 2016 for him to join. It doesn't even let him remove himself - the option to leave the group just doesn't appear in the menu when clicked.
