WHY CAN'T I ACCESS MICROSOFT SUPPORT???

I have a tech support emergency. I go to microsoft.com and log in. I go to the bottom of the page and click on Contact Microsoft. Yet Microsoft allows NO, repeat, NO, access to support. The tech support phone number does not allow you to be connected to tech support, or a human. The Help sections do not help.
