why are my folder icons white?

for a while all my folder files have been white and ive searched it up and used every method (deleting image cache, ect.) but it still hasnt been fixed. a few months ago i was messing around with themes and downloaded an app from the microsoft store that changed the folder icons then i deleted the app thinking it would go back to normal but now theyre white and unfixable. (i also cannot find the app making me a little anxious) its only my folder icons that are having this issue, everything else is fine. remedies?
