Why am I unable to restore file from recycle bin?

Hi everyone!After a recent Windows update, keyboard strokes and mouse clicks are not working properly, also automatically putting items into the recycle bin when clicking on them. I have a folder in the recycle bin that I want to restore but when I click on it, the message box asks if I want to permanently delete it instead. Any idea why this is happening?I have run DISM and System File Checker via CMD, and both were completed without issues. FYI, I'm using Windows 10 Home. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
