Which windows should I get , windows from Microsoft (which is free) or from Amazon which costs a lot what’s the difference between two

Recently I have build my own pc and I confused should I get windows from Microsoft store which is free to download and only need activation key or windows which is sold on Amazon for a lot expensive price what should I do ? Is there any difference between both version I just want what’s best for my PC
